INTERFACE TRAINING : for Corrective Services, security Guards, Police, Military

What is "INTERFACE TRAINING" ?
When you complete your BASIC TRAINING in any of the service careeres above, the courses that are completed are basically geared around Queensland Criminal Code 1899 , and PROPORTIONATE RESPONCE (with the Exception of Army and depending in what Unit you belong to (example transport or Infantry?).
The Civilian courses for Corrective Services,Security Guards and Police are mainly "legal boundary lines focused".
This is a necessary process for the above to be AWARE of the common law BOUNDARIES and in the event of a court case appropiate "Duty of care" and "Proportionalte Responces" will be accessed by the court in their Judgement of the matter.

 FACT :
 Corrective Services have only 3 days of actual self defence training
before they are posted as "FRONT LINE" between them and Criminals.

It is fairly obvious that this is clearly NOT ENOUGH TRAINING for the
PERSONAL PROTECTION of the Officer and it is in their 'Best Interests'
that the above personnel get some INTERFACE TRAINING to SUPPLEMENT 
their self protection 'skill set' .This will ensure that they have the CONFIDENCE
and MINIMIZE PERSONAL RISK due to lack of self-defense skills beyound a 3 days course.

  • 1973 – commenced Judo and boxing training at 14 years old with YMCA 1 year 

  • 1974 – 1990 – Army training (cadets, reserve and 10 years regular)  front line infantry including survival and unarmed combat training with instruction to special forces 

  • 1978 – Kung Fu 1 year 

  • 1984 – present - commenced TKD at 25 years old and still training at 54 - Training under Rhee, Yun and GH 

  • 1986 – commenced as instructor under Rhee and army unarmed combat

  •  1989 - Shorin Rye Karate for 1 year 

  • 2009 – commenced training with GH again – TKD, boxing, basic kick boxing and Commando Krav Magra 

  • 2013 – developing UMASD with GH 

 

 

  • ​Graham has been in the industry for 40 years ,and has a background in Boxing,Martial arts and Olympic Weighlifting(Trained by famous Olympian Nevil Perry) 

  • Graham Has diplomas in sports-coaching and fitness

  • Graham is an 8th dan Black Belt Master in the Martial Arts.

  • Qualified Christian minister (Honorary Dr.of Divinity)

  • He was the Marketing manager of pacific fitness and has promoted many health centers in the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.

  • Graham has a multi-faceted experience of all areas of the health and fitness industry.

  • Graham literally trains the trainers as well as still keeps a practical hands on approach to everything he does.

  • been involved in Training Corrective Services officers,Security Guards,Police and Military (Had a health centre near Lavarack Army Base Townsville) many members of His Gym and Martial Arts Club were based a Lavarack Barracks .

  • defense against Knife attack

  • hand gun disarms & rifle disarms

  • control holds and locks general over views

  • counter moves to all forms of kick attacks 

  • counter moves to all forms of punching attacks 

  • counter moves to all forms of locks and holds 

  • How to control agressive attackers and render attacker into withstraining holds awaiting police back up or security back up

  • break falls on hard surfaces (safely) for example how to fall ,roll frontwards and backwards on concrete SAFELY and without personal injury 

  • supplementary scenerio analaysis (for example the 'what if' situations that a security person experiences that needs analysis .

  • 3 hr workshops  every 6 weeks 

  • 2 hr training sessions twice per week

  • classic martial arts stretching every class (recommended for lower back care)
